The Weekly Read

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate! Colleen Burns Consulting is here with a fantastic present to put under your social media tree: another edition of The Weekly Read!

  • Copyblogger gifted us with a new way to entice your leads to become customers: the “Thrill, Inspire, Educate” (TIE) method. My personal go-to is to inspire; if you show your prospects that you’re knowledgeable and trustworthy, there is a higher likelihood they will work with you!
  • Social Media Today gave us four ways people get coal in their digital marketing stockings. If you want to be on the “Nice” list next year, contact me today!
  • You’ve heard of buyer personas; but do you know what a “Social Selling Persona” is? Impact Branding and Design explains how to create one for your 2019 social media efforts. My takeaways: Authenticity and providing helpful insights are always important. In addition, it’s okay to be choosy about the social channels where you choose to present your brand. Your target audience should always influence that decision!

I hope you have a wonderful holiday season filled with friends and family. See you next week for another edition of The Weekly Read!
